Story

A piece of Vaasan's history

Our story began in 1849, when August Alexander Levón from Saloinen received permission from the Local Register Office to establish a steam-powered mill in Vaasa.

We bake Finns' favourite breads

It has always been a matter of honour for us to bake exactly the kind of bread that Finns want – fresh, healthy and delicious.

Vaasan bread is part of the Finnish story

Vaasan
has been a part of the everyday life and dining tables of Finns for generations. Our bread is with us from the first bite in the morning to the shared moments in the eveningfamiliar, loved and trusted

Vaasan brings together farmers, bakers, vendors, partners and influencers to make bread more than just a traditional food. We want to awaken a new kind of passion for bread: bread can be the heart of a meal, a sustainable choice and at the same time an everyday hero that suits your wallet. It can be used for everyday life and celebrations, from the breakfast table to dinner parties, anywhere, anytime.

Bread is a small but significant part of a sustainable and healthy diet. Whole grain and fibre bring well-being, and we at Vaasan are constantly working to reduce the climate impact of bread and reduce the climate impact of bread. opportunities are greater.

We take good care of Finns' favourite breads and
We cherish our wonderful bread culture.

Vaasan bread is part of the Finnish story. It is rooted, durable and forward-looking . We are here for Finnsnow and in the future.
